To the Printer of the Constitutional Gazette.
Your inserting the following answers to the Rebus's in Mr.
Holt's paper of the 9th inst. will oblige one of your
constant readers.
W ise is the man who his country would save,
  H onor's a title that's due to the brave,
I nnocence protects us from infamy's snare,
G oodness inherits the man that acts fair.
The initials when join'd make plainly appear,
A title that freemen should glory to bear.
AN ANSWER TO THE CONTRAST.
T oads are creatures of a poisonous kind,
O wls in solitude only we find,
R ogue is a name we affix to a cheat,
Y elping's the musick of puppies when beat.
The initials of which present to your fight,
A creature detested by all who act right.
